Had this with my Mk2 Punto and now its the same with my AGP
passenger side window won't budge, can hear clicking from the motor but no movement
basically, the motor has jammed, it just needs a wiggle to un jam it, the problem is getting access to wiggle the motor
you have to remove the door card, sooo, behind the interior door handle there is a little removable plate, needs a narrow flat screwdriver to remove and this reveals a bolt, remove this and two similar bolts hiding below the the door pull handle, not covered, just out of line of site
then, remove the screws along the bottom edge of the door card, the card is now held in place by clips, just pull the door card away from the door and the serated clips will let go
the door card will now swing away from the door, hinged along the top edge
undo the two wiring connectors to the window switch panel
pull the door card upwards by the door pull and the top seal will release
you need to tear the water proof/ sound proof membrane allowing the lock cable to pull clear and provide access to the inner workings of the door
the window motor is in there, not easy to see but you can feel the securing screws and just undoing these allows enough movement to to un jam the mechanism
try the window, it now works
tighten up the motor, tape up the torn membrane and fasten it all back together
job done, dealer costs avoided
