CTEK Battery Charger/ Conditioner
« on: April 10, 2022, 07:46:57 PM »
Hi everyone, I have a Abarth 124 that will not be used as a daily driver, so was going to put on a CTEK battery trickle charger/ conditioner and use the eyelet connectors permanently connected on the battery.
Has anyone done this with theirs, and what the best way of connecting without changing the battery terminals? Cheers

Mine lives on a CTEK.  I just use the croc clips on the terminals.

I use a CTek on mine too. You can either as has been said, use the croc clips, ( lie them down so you can close the bonnet ) or just undo the nuts on the battery connections and put the eyes onto them. As long as you are careful you don't need to disturb the battery connections. You can close the bonnet with the lead coming out over the wing, there is a big enough gap to not trap the cable.
