Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / Re: 2009 Abarth 500 - !!! power steering issue !!!!
« on: February 08, 2023, 07:29:06 PM »
Its electric power steering and the Panda/500 rack doesn't last for ever. It may need a new/recon rack

Is the battery OK, it doesn't take a lot of voltage drop for strange things to happen

Lovely, enjoy!

Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / Re: Side stripe replacement help.
« on: May 05, 2021, 08:01:52 PM »
I've seen stripe kits on ebay, but like you, I wouldn't want to do it myself.

You could try a local sign company that do graphics for vans etc

As a shot in the dark, what about trying an Abarth dealer? A lot of the stripes are fitted at the dealer, probably contracted out, but see what they say

Can we have a picture?

The 2021 "series 5" with the new wheels doesn't come with the aluminium caps, not sure whether they come with a BMC, they may have just missed putting the sticker on!

If its a series 4, they I think it should have the caps and BMC

Looks fantastic with the new wheel design, "naked" without the stickers.

Welcome

Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / Re: Bike Rack
« on: March 29, 2021, 12:10:06 PM »
I wouldn't use a rack mounted on the hatch, it will damage the spoiler.

If you don't have a sunrooof, then you can get roof bars and then put a cycle carrier on.

If its an electric bike, they're too heavy to put on the roof/hatch.

Otherwise its a towbar mounting....

Looks great under the grime ;D

My next car is very likely to be Abarth number 5 (But a Comp this time 8)) and with any of the grey colours, the red stripes really set it off beautifully.

Good choice!

Nice car!

You're in!

Your Abarth / Re: Mmmmmm....... 124 Spider Abarth!

Lovely, you've done well to find one, especially a manual. Here in the UK they flooded the market with autos when they stopped making them

Lovely.

Colour scheme reminds me of JPS Lotus (a very good thing)

Mats should be included, they'd be a dealer fit.

The Aluminium bits, pedals etc are fitted by the dealer

Every Abarth has ally pedals, so that's a given

If the BMC filter is fitted these days, that's fitted by the dealer, same with ally oil and fuel cap (I'm not up to date and not sure if they're included)

Stripes and mirror caps are often fitted by the dealer.

I believe that the map is done at the factory

Main thing is to enjoy it!

If you're having any upgrade kits fitted, they are done by the dealer
