Update..
« on: May 14, 2015, 10:15:05 AM »
Firstly, Id like to apologise for not keeping the news area regularly updated, university work along with other commitments mean I have less time to spend on the forum at the moment!

Where We Are Now

So, the club has just passed 330 members! This is really incredible and we never expected to reach such a high number of members.  We are continuing to grow with the help of word of mouth, social media and of-course our club presence at car shows & events.

Our club flags came out really nicely and get displayed at any chance possible, they were very well received by our members as well as Abarth UK, and 2 more flags will be ordered ASAP. Id like to say a special thank you to Ajay and Thames Abarth for kindly sponsoring one of the flags.

A trademark application has been filed for 'Abarth Owners Club'. On the premise that it is accepted, club merchandise will be available via an online store. There will be a large selection of clothing as well as accessories, so there should be something for everyone. We will update you as soon as we know whether the application is accepted.

Attendance for our club events continues to grow. Its nice to see people getting actively involved  and coming along, as well as putting names to faces! We look forward to the events for the coming summer , and hopefully should see a lot of you there!

Club stickers are also our possession. For everyone who has already paid, they will be posted out to you via First Class ASAP. They can also be handed over at any events. The internal window cling stickers are still being looked into. There are always minimum orders of at least 100, sometimes 200. We would like to get a good idea of how many people are interested in purchasing them before we go ahead and order a huge amount!

We have also merged with a group on Facebook formerly known as Abarth Official Owners, who are predominately located in the South East. They have their own events area on the forum to organise local meets, so please go and check it out if you are from around that area!

Whats Next?

The club will continue to grow (hopefully) and more events will be added. We are working on adding more dealers to our network, as well as expanding forum partners. More content will be added to our main website, and we may start an online monthly newsletter, as well as a daily blog, yet this is TBC.

We are still very much on Abarth UK's radar, and will continue to work with them to help the club grow, as well as organise AOC / Abarth UK events and days out.

We hope to grow our social media side of things too. Our instagram account is proving successful, with just under 600 followers. We aim to hit 1000 followers by the end of summer. If you havent already, please give us a follow @abarthownersclub

The Facebook page and group is also doing well, you can find it by searching Abarth Owners Club. Please give us a like!

We are also looking into partnering with some clubs outside of the UK. It would be great to have the club go international, with separate areas for

How Can You Help?

Being an active member on the forum and attending events where possible is always a great help. Letting fellow Abarth Enthusiasts know about the club is also a great way to help us grow. If you havent already, check out any polls running on the forum so we can accurately gauge numbers and opinions. You can also let your local dealers know about us, and get them to get in contact with info@abarthownersclub.com if they are interested in being part of our network!

Thank You!

Finally, a big thank you to all our members for being part of the club and helping us get to where we are today. The efforts of Colin & Will are also massively appreciated.

We look forward to seeing you all at our up coming events!
