Selenia Abarth 10W50 Oil
« on: May 08, 2015, 11:00:26 AM »
I have a 2 litre tin of oil Selenia Anarth 10W50 unopened since 2013 stored in a cool dry place.

Haven't really needed to use it as Abarth doesn't burn oil which is a good thing compared to previous cars I've owned.

I was wondering if the oil has an expiry date? Wanted to take the tin with me to France as a precaution, not that it will need it as the service is a couple of days before the journey.

I've googled in general but I've had mixed reviews. Some saying yes it does and other saying no it doesn't especially if it's been unopened and stored correctly.

Any ideas? Don't really want to spend £25 of there's no need to!

Thanks

I forgot my mate was a mechanic so asked him and said its fine. He goes technically oil is already hundreds of years old.
