Unclip OBD port

Hi all! I'm looking to unclip my OBD from its housing in order to relocate it but I'm having great difficulty actually getting it unclipped. I can see it has a tab I should push in on one side but there seems to be a ridge between the tab and the body which gets in the way and prevents the tab being pushed in enough. Is there any specific technique I should follow (before I end up breaking it) :)

It's a little awkward to do but you have to bring it out at an angle I have heard.
