Picking up new Comp soon, question about dealer fitted parts
« on: October 26, 2020, 06:19:41 AM »
I will soon be picking up a brand new Competizione and I wonder if anyone knows a full list of all the items the dealer should be fitting? Alloy pedals I think is one item. Also does anyone know if it comes from the manufacturer already mapped to the correct bhp or is that something the dealer must do too?

The Aluminium bits, pedals etc are fitted by the dealer

Every Abarth has ally pedals, so that's a given

If the BMC filter is fitted these days, that's fitted by the dealer, same with ally oil and fuel cap (I'm not up to date and not sure if they're included)

Stripes and mirror caps are often fitted by the dealer.

I believe that the map is done at the factory

Main thing is to enjoy it!

If you're having any upgrade kits fitted, they are done by the dealer

Thank you. The only ally bits I can think of are the gear knob, pedals, sill protectors, and as you say possibly oil and petrol caps. Oh maybe mats are dealer fitted too? It was more just so that I do get all the bits I've paid for, it wasn't cheap 🐷 but I'm sure I will enjoy yes ty

Mats should be included, they'd be a dealer fit.

Hi, don't quote me on this but I do not think you get the alloy oil filler any more but should get the fuel cap, our dealer forgot to fit the BMC filter but it was the week of lockdown in March !!

Fab thank you. How would I know if a BMC filter was fitted when I look at it? Is it a cone intake instead of a box?

It's a direct replacement for the standard filter, if fitted they should put a sticker on the cover to let you know because they are washable.
