News on Gloucester Goes Retro Event, 29th August 2020
« on: January 08, 2020, 10:46:03 AM »
Those of you who attended the Gloucester Goes Retro Festival last August probably received an email earlier in the week directly from the organisers with details of the proposed 2020 event which will take place on Saturday 29th August.

Although the event is planned to be run on similar lines to last year, there are currently no plans for the specific Italian Car display area like we were able to enjoy. This not for lack of interest among owners of Italian cars, but because the event owners have - for their own reasons - decided against it, preferring to stick to the idea of grouping cars by age on the 4 Gates. At this stage, it would unlikely that they will change their mind, but we have not given up all hope.

What this means is that if we want to attend, and get the cars all parked up together, then we would need to meet up outside the event area and convoy in together. With all the Abarths being from the same time period, we would then get them all together.

I will keep everyone posted as plans for this event unfold.
