HELP! P0033 & P0039
« on: June 06, 2019, 09:12:08 PM »
hi I'm very new here, and very new to abarths. I have these two codes that don't reset. Do I buy the  solenoid. Or is it just a symptom of something else?

Hello Thomas
I had a quick search online and found this which i hope could be useful for you - https://www.troublecodes.net/pcodes/p0033/
Although I would get the car to your mechanic before buying anything
Hope you get it sorted

Just a thought if the car seems to be fine apart from fault codes try disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and also make sure the battery  terminals are not loose .

Okay, an eventful day! So had cambelt and waterpump done, full service, changed the boost diverter solenoid. That was pretty much toast. The problem was still there so the throttle body was next. When you take apart the throttle body there are four pins hitting four pickup points. These tabs needed lifting as they had gone a little flat over time. So I'm £60 worse off than a full major service.
