As most Abarth enthusiasts should by now be aware, this is an important year for the brand, as it marks the 70th anniversary of the founding of Abarth, and it is also 40 years since the death of Carlo Abarth. As well as the 70th anniversary editions of the cars, there will be a number of events held during the year to mark this. And I am pleased to be able to announce the very first one.
This will take place on 31st March, 70 years to the day since the founding of the Company. Abarth UK are hosting a Breakfast Meet/Sunday Scarmble event at their HQ in Slough. This is in conjunction with Pistonheads, and will constitute one of their popular Sunday Services, so there will be more than just Abarths and indeed other FCA Group products to see.
Space is finite, so at present, we need to gauge interest. If you would like to come, and are free to do so on the morning of Sunday 31st March, please indicate here that this is the case. If demand exceeds the capacity of the venue, we may have to apply some sort of prioritised list of attendees, so I cannot commit for sure that everyone will be able to attend............. and finer details including a start time will be posted in due course, too.
