Apple car play upgrade

Hi chaps,

Has anyone had any success getting car play on the 5" screen (2017 595) or is it possible to have it upgraded to the 7" screen? I asked the local dealer if it was possible to upgrade and he said he didn't know but would ask... never heard back.

I've looked at the Maestro system but the steering wheel controls don't look right to me and I'd need to keep these functions.

5 inch isn't available car play enabled, changing to 7 inch is possible in theory but too involved and expensive to bother. I use a pillar mount for the phone and simply use the phone screen it is easier to use than the main screen that way as it is easy to reach without taking you eyes off the  road.
