Turning Radio Off
« on: December 21, 2018, 05:27:59 PM »
Can the radio actually be turned off, or is it always on and just muted? The dealer had no more luck than me, but it would be good to know for sure
Thanks

So really all you need is a jack plug plugged in looks quite simple

I don't understand - I don't remember seeing any 'mute' icons covering the screen or the other stuff mentioned here.  For me pressing the knob (i.e. technically muting the radio) might as well be an on/off switch.  No big deal.

Mind you, I don't have satnav.  I hate manufacturer's satnavs as I'm not keen on out-of-date technology in a car after only a couple of years, so didn't tick the box for that one.  That might make a difference to muting or not, I suppose.
