Bonet catch broken

My spiders in the garage for the winter opened the bonnet to connect  to connect a trickle charger went to put the bonnet down but no clip it shut tried to clip the piece of metal that holds the bonnet up back into the plastic clip and the clip just broke ,has anybody got an idea what the clip is called so I can get another one ive googled every name I can think of but no joy.

I think I will have to but its such a silly thing just a small plastic clip im still fighting over my key

Anyone got any idea how to take the old bonnet catch off i doing my best but don't want to scratch the paint

Its ok I did it you have to get pliers underneath squeeze it then it pops out
