Hi - I was thinking of adding some extra spotlights probably in the lower grill area..  has anyone else done this successfully? Thanks

Best be a bit careful - when my car was delivered I asked the dealer to register it on a 6-digit old reg number I've had for years, with a smaller plate due to fewer digits (perfectly legal).  When I picked it up he said they'd had problems with this as the number plate mount and, I think, the area around it is very sensitive to the crash protection system.  I think this launches the bonnet up the windscreen to protect pedestrians, or something.

Thanks for your information. I might press on with some mini fog lights on the grill as I  cannot see why that would affect the movement of the bonnet upwards in a collision. But I’m no expert so will investigate further - but agree safety maramount . Rgds

No, I think the dealer was more concerned about setting it off rather than stopping it moving!
