Abarths at Bicester Heritage SUnday Scramble: 7th October 2018

Now firmly established not just in the UK motoring events calendar, but also with many Abarth Owners, the next Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble takes place on Sunday 7th October. Needless to say, I have registered the Club, and discounted tickets are now available.

To obtain them, go to the event's website, http://bicesterheritage.co.uk/?ticket=sunday-scramble-tickets and click on the ‘Enter Promotional Code’ link towards the top of the ‘Tickets’ block on the booking page and input our club discount code ABARTHX18.  The club ticket option will then be visible for them to select and purchase their tickets. One ticket covers the car and driver, if you have any passengers, they will need their own ticket. Please note, club tickets sales close at midnight Monday 1st October 2018

As over 50 Abarths have attended one of the Bicester Heritage Sunday Scramble events this year, I perhaps don't need to write much about this event, telling you all about how good it is, but for those who have yet to experience it, well, it is like a Breakfast Club/Cars & Coffee meet, but it lasts longer, with most people staying until early afternoon. In excess of 1000 cars typically attend each event. The October event is the third of the year, and as one of the last big outdoor events of the season always attracts a large number of cars, so there will be plenty to see beyond just all our Abarths. In addition, you get the chance to look around this historic site -which saw service in WW2  as an RAF Bomber base, and  which is being restored to its former glory. Many of the buildings now house car restoration businesses, and many of these will be open on the day, for you to have a look. The air field is - subject to the weather - also in operation, and the brave can book rides in vintage planes (though be warned, if you book now, you may have to wait til later in the year to get a place, as these are very popular!).

Let's see if we can make this our biggest turnout yet at the event!

Just ordered my ticket! Annoyingly I can't refund my ticket for Trax Silverstone which is the same day, but I'd rather travel the shorter distance and not be surrounded by #Stance4Lyfe bros and those sorts of people with their ruined JDM cars, clapped out Corsas etc.
