As the polish I have from Triplewax is likely about 5 years old and reading up on it, apparently useless...

Decided on getting a new, more recent technology polish and as the Tripple from Auto Finesse was priced the same as Autoglym SRP, I decided to go with the Tripple as AF seems the better brand.

Using this along with the Temptation wax(which one of my sisters just got me for washing her car

) as the Armour all shield ultimate wax is just about finished, these will be my standard polish and wax products now for 4-5 cars now until they run out then try another in the future.

So does anyone have any opinions on either of these products, being AF I assume they will be good and hoping the temptation gives a better wax finish than the armour all.

Tripple is really good, got a reasonable amount of cut to it, and also works quite well at filling any deep swirls and scratches

Also lays down a nice carnuba wax base layer, perfect for topping with one of their paste waxes, so will work really well with Temptation. The finish will be much better than armour all thats for sure

Cant comment on durability and finish the temptation gives as I havent used it, but im sure its pretty good - they say it gives 2 months durability, you may be able to increase it ever so slightly by using a carnuba based quick detail spray?

Best bet is to give the car a going over with the Tripple, then just keep topping up the wax every 2 months, and polish every 6-8 months.

Make sure you're using a gentle LSP safe shampoo to not degrade it

Finally, might be worth you picking up an AF Waxmate - it makes applying it a breeze!

Thanks Bert, good to know I've made decent purchases as the amount of different product available really makes choosing products difficult!

Decided on using a wax through the spring/summer months and top it up every 2-3 months or whenever I see the beading dying. Will then buy some tough prep and power seal/tough coat to apply around October to protect the car for 6 months until the weather starts to pick up

Nope, just really like their stuff and they're just a good company with excellent customer service, so why not help them out!

Good answer! Yeah, personally it is the branding that has sold it for me, much more funky than the majority of other products out there, even the GF who has no interest in any of this stuff commented on the branding saying she likes it, she studies graphic design so the branding must work!
