old and new

Hi All

some will know me, a lot will not.

I previously started my love affair back in 2010 when I had a 10 plate white 500 Essesse, loved that thing, Abarths were very new and niche and it was such a fun car! I then upgraded to a 595 Competitizione in 2014 which sadly had a terrible crash after 5 months and went to the Abarth Heaven. I was persuaded to buy a bigger car and got into a Alfa Guiletta QV, which I loved at first especially with the 4c engine, but its not an Abarth, not as fun, and have been wanting to get back to my Abarth love ever since.

So last week I went out, as I promised myself 2018 I would, and have ordered a Modena Yellow 595c Competizione, carbon dash, xenon lights, turismo black seats, black mirror and stripes. ETA will be March and like every new Abarth owner, its like being a kid again waiting for Father Christmas to come.

I have missed the Abarth family, the meets and events and knowing Bertie and Colin, I am very excited to get involved once again.

Will get some pics up when it arrives and look forward to seeing you at lots of events in 2018!

Welcome back, Dan.

I have been around long enough to remember Rory, your first Abarth, as you got it with a few days of me getting my first one.....  and credit for organising that very first visit to Ace Cafe in 2011 goes to you, too!

Thanks Colin, love the ACE, can't believe its 6 years now! can't wait to get the new fella ( haven't decided on a name yet ) and will see you at ACE or another event very soon  :)

Hey Noddy, how you doing fella! those were the days! yep my 3rd on its way, can't wait! been told today its about 4 weeks, being built today! the wait is still as bad now as it was all those years ago  ;)
