How do I upload photos?

I've never asked such a stupid question but how on earth do I upload a photo...either from a PC but preferably via iPad. I can  attach the file but how do i place within a post?

you need to copy the link in between the img formatting

1. click on the picture icon (above the smiley face icon)

2. paste your image link into the field [img*]www.imagexyz.com[/img*]

or attach it as a link

note: I use http://www.picresize.com/ to upload my images then "Save To Web" and copy the image location (right click on the uploaded image)

At the bottom of the thread is the reply button, in there just under the message section is a drop down for 'Attachments and other options' where you can add attachments.

For years (it feels like it) I've been ridiculed for uploading images every which way but as they were intended. Trial, error and frustration has taught me that, when using an iPhone (other devices are available) take the images in landscape, with the button to the right hand side. Even though your tablet/phone/device may correct the image for storing, when you upload, it reverts to how you took it. I've posted sideways, upside down and (probably) inside out learning this. Just a tip. No really, you're welcome. A
