Microfibre Towels
« on: February 28, 2015, 01:14:49 AM »
What do your prefer when using microfibre towels?

Buy cheap and in bulk to detail for one use then throw away or buy better quality ones and wash?

I use both kinds

Cheap ones for doing the engine bay exhaust and wheel arches etc

The more expensive ones (Sonus) for paint work wheels and glass, I do wash the cheap ones as well but they never feel the same

I love and adore auto glyms blue MF cloths

Wash after wash they stand up to it

I'm the same though, I do both. Just make sure they're clean and free of nastiness and they'll be fine

Well weather in London is still poor, car needs a clean but weather is just always setting me back. When there's sign of clear weather will probably buy a lot of microfibres from Ultimate Finish. Buy different colours to help pick which jobs etc.

I read you can clean in washing machine with no bio liquid tabs and white vinegar. Just don't tumble dry, leave to dry.

Just have a mixture and as they are cleaned after every wash they are all used on different jobs. Have a few of poorer quality I use for applying metal polish etc, keep the softer ones for glass/paint work applications!

Just bought these http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/uf/microfibre-buffing-fleece-red-10-pack.aspx

Going to wash them using fairy non bio liquid tabs and white vinegar!

Going to buy some specific glass microfibres too.

I have AF Primo Plush but will also want to buy duo edgeless when back in stock. Will keep those for main jobs.
