Asking price advice - 2011 Modified A500C
« on: July 20, 2017, 11:10:43 AM »
Hi All,

I am going through a transition currently and considering selling Dorrie  to fund my next vehicle (not 100% what I am going for but the 124 is looking interesting now they are coming down to a more sensible price). Now, anyone that knows the car is aware that I have put a fair amount of effort to keep her as fun, safe and reliable as possible.  I refuse to sell her in on a PX since they would give me far below what she is worth in love and investment. However, for someone that wants a quick reliable 500c with plenty of lovely stuff added she would fit the bill nicely.

So, I am looking for what the car would be worth to someone that wants a project that has got solid underpinnings and is ready for the next stages.

The Skinny:

2011 Abarth 500 Cabriolet
Full leather interior
MTA gearbox
38K (just had its 36K service and a general check through for anything that needs tightening, replacing etc)
Main dealer history (apart from one stamp from the previous sales place)
MOT until March 2018

Mods:

Brembo disks front and rear - Fitted March 2017
Greenstuff pads front and rear  - Fitted March 2017
Braided brake hoses front and rear
Koni suspension front and rear
Eibach Sport Pro springs
Custom refurbished ten spokes in chrome red/copper finish
GTT Induction kit with BOV
MM Bombardone
Remapped  by A1 in Hull to around 170HP and 265ft/lbs

So, if I can't get a sensible price above book I will strip all the parts I have fitted and return her to stock, that would be a shame but thought I would out it out here first.

So please guys, any idea what I shoudl be asking.
