 Boosted Breakfast South @ The Akeman Inn

Hosted by Boosted Events, this is an excellent morning of cars and coffee. I went along as the sole 595 last month so it would be good for us to have a little regional meet! You get a good mix of supercars, hot hatches, GTRs and fast Germans so it would be good to add some Scorpions too.

Noddyrocket (Toby?) we are polished up and ready to go. So long as it's not tipping down with rain we will be there shortly after 9 for bacon rolls and a coffee. A&JL

Thanks to Toby for rallying the Abarth faithful to this excellent event. A very eclectic mix of standard and modified, new and vintage, Euro/British vs US vs Japanese. A great event hosted by Boosted, where all entry fees and profits go to charity. Had a fantastic full English breakfast and a coffee for £10 ea which was very welcome and almost too much to eat. Favourite car of the day? A late arrival Jaguar F-Type in red was very distinguished; an AMG 6.3 ltr; lime green RS Focus; a Nissan GT-R in full 'Cars' livery; an Alfa 4c in traditional red livery was a beautiful reminder of a garage 'must have' but for us, A is a standard 4 door M3 in pastel blue and JL is the F-Type. And the 4c!  Great to have five Abarth lined up.  Definitely a repeat event for us.

Glad you enjoyed it, it's quickly gaining a reputation as one of the best and most chilled car meets in the area.

I think as a club we should definitely plan a return visit, and the Boosted crew were very complimentary of the Abarths.

I live in Aylesbury so will be there for the next one!
