135 rear shock
« on: April 11, 2017, 03:14:10 PM »
Hi, does anyone know who makes the rear shocks for a 2011 135 Abarth. I need to replace mine but don't want to pay Abarth prices.
Cheers
Mark

I'd change to a better shock, Koni FSDs would make a massive difference.

If you can't afford them there are others such as Bilsteins like the ones here: http://www.tmcmotorsport.com/Abarth_Suspension.aspx from TMC

Its worth getting different ones to standard, even Abarth changed the spec after 2015, it makes a massive difference, it stops bouncing around

Thanks for letting me know, would the bilstein be OK with the standard front shocks?

I've just changed my Koni FSD's to Koni adjustable Yellows.  First set of FSD's were knocking mostly when travelling slowly over bumpy/rutted surfaces. They were replaced under warranty and were then quiet for a while, but they've been knocking for the last couple of years. It was quite a common problem with the series 3 Comps. Anyway the new ones are great with no loss of comfort or road holding - just no damn knocking.

I would think so, but you'd need advice from people who know more than me!

Have to agree with Record, I have Konis on my comp and after lowering it they knock like a shit house door in a hurricane.
