Sisters car detailed
« on: February 22, 2015, 10:00:21 PM »
So made a promise to my dad and sister I would get there cars polished and sealed, already did his car and got my sisters done yesterday, think it is the best polishing job I have done so far, very pleased with the work!

Was snow foamed, rinsed, used tar and glue removers and allowed to sit on the paintwork for a few mins and rinse again, took most of the tar marks off then hand washed with two bucket method, dried and t cut polished. Then applied that auto finish mirror gloss sealant I got for a fiver and was impressed with the finish, left a very shiny finish and allowed to dry a bit more this time and seemed to work a lot better when polished in!

Finished off with glass sealing and some tyre gel and polished up her exhaust best I could as it is quite a poor state but was impressed with the gtechniq exhaust polisher which shined the exhaust up well despite its condition!

Very nice

The gf has a red A500 and it's so difficult to get it to shine so well

Really?

I found the red on this wee Audi A1 to be brilliant for shine, minimal buffing gave the shine you see... assumed most red cars would be like that?
