2016 595 Competizione. Fmic Intercooler+ ram air intake.

Hi,

I have a 2016 competizione mta. I'm looking for a good intercooler and intake. I was thinking about a Scara 73 intercooler and the new ram air cold intake from scara 73.

 I'm not looking for a remap. I just want some more power and faster turbo response.

Will the intercooler + intake be able to get the engine too 190 hp? Also what are the pre and cons of this 2 mods? Or are there better alternatives?

To get the most out of the modifications (especially the intercooler) and keep the engine safe, you should get it remapped.

Ok change of plan. I found a forge intercooler. Seems even better. But then without another intake.  But  a remap isn't amust for an intercooler is it? Thanks.

There is no point installing an FMIC if you're not getting the car mapped as there will be no benefit. I'm getting my series 4 Comp remapped at ProAlfa in a couple of weeks, which should give me about 200bhp, and I don't require an FMIC or Forge actuator for that. They only become requirements if you want bigger gains from a remap or are fitting a bigger turbo.

I suggest saving your money or spend it on something else for the car. If you want advice I suggest the Modified Abarth Facebook group as people on there really know these cars inside & out.  If you have a question about anything related to modding an Abarth someone will have an answer.
