My Dream Car - A Series 4 595 Competizione

Hi everyone,

Been wanting and searching for one of these Abarth's for so long and finally pulled the trigger a few weeks ago. Was originally aiming for a series 4 595 Turismo as I thought the Competizione was out of my price range. But one Sunday morning my absolute dream spec 595 Competizione appeared on AutoTrader for an unbelievable price, I took it off the market with a hefty deposit as soon as the dealership opened and completed a 6 hour round trip the same day to test drive and ultimately secure this beast! I attended Abarth Day 2016 last year in my Fiat 500 and loved seeing and hearing all those awesome Abarth's in one place, I actually drove the exact same spec/colour Abarth round Silverstone circuit, now I own that car!

So happy to own my dream car and be part of this awesome club.

I'll be attending Abarth Day 2017 which I believe is at Rockingham this year - looking forward to it!

Thanks guys! My old Fiat 500 was red and I must admit this red is a lovely colour - not too dark! Red and black seems to be my combo.

I saw one for sale by a dealer for £17k IIRC, really good price for an almost new car if that's the one!

I paid just under 15k for this with 2,900 miles on the clock.... I'd been looking on AutoTrader for an age and knew this price was crazy! Was bought through a Volkswagen dealership, they had it through a part ex on another deal. It was listed on the Saturday afternoon and by the time I had arrived at the dealership on the Sunday they said it had received massive interest - not surprised at that price!

I made sure they didn't service it as had problems before with other cars bought through different dealerships where they stick any old oil it in etc. It's due for it's first service in May, so not long now.

From what I've read, 20th May. It was mentioned on the VIP Experience package when you purchase the newly announced 695 XSR Yamaha - so not that long really! Although I don't think you can buy tickets yet....
