Not Trusting A Dealer!
« on: October 26, 2016, 04:57:12 PM »
I've got an order in for a new comp, which has the car sitting at the dealers at the moment. I cant collect it due to my insurance company being awkward, might be down to my renewal being on Nov 1st.

Now I understand they have to fit the comp extra's, but after leaving a request for the car not to be touched for anything other than that I just don't have any trust in them.

The salesman is currently on holiday (who I do trust), but his colleagues just don't give me that same level on trust.

The car will be going for professional detailing and sealant applied when I get it, and I've already been warned that if they have washed and cleaned it then this will results in extra delays and costs!

Should I trust them or should I just cancel it and get my deposit back? Yeah I know I'm being paranoid but I just don't trust these salesmen.

Sadly it's the sales manager who I dealt with and is on holiday. :(

Go to the dealer principle and say the same.

My daughter is also paranoid and even requested that they leave all the packaging on the car which they did.
The salesman had to put a notice on the windscreen to stop people picking at the packing.
He even asked her before he fitted the number plates.
