My 124 Spider!
« on: September 26, 2016, 10:43:25 AM »
So, Ive got a 124 Spider!

After all the issues with my 595 order, and then going on a trackday in the 124, I bit the bullet and ordered one!

San Marino Black
Visibility Pack
Bose Audio
Satnav
Black Leather

I decided to go without the heritage pack as I thought it would be a bit lost on a black car!

I picked it up on Thursday and have been loving it since!

Will get some interior shots posted up later!

Its such a fantastic car, and the noise it makes with the roof down is incredible!

Congrats mate.  Rented the Fiat version for my holiday in Italy this August.  Cracking car, but I did miss that Abarth sound.  Oh and a bit cramped with the roof on so don't think it is a car for Bergen, Norway were it rains 280-300 days of the year.

Looks great in black

Really nice! looks great in black.  8)

Looked around a white one yesterday in a showroom and was impressed with the quality, one was being test driven and sounded great blasting up the road.

Probably nice to have something totally new and unfamiliar as the 595 would of been having owned one beforeā€¦

Stunning
Love the red strip on the front, just enough to break up the black and the rear of the car looks awesome.  Congrats

Not looking, eyes tight shut, avoiding it... Lengths I'm having to go to to avoid the 124, whisked Jen to Mexico to not have to be at Duxford  ;) cost less than replacing the 595 too.

Looks lovely Bertie  8)

Wow, the red really pops on the black. Have you considered the red mirror caps & red tow hook cover? I could probably go either way.

Thanks for your comments!

Jim, it did originally have red accents but I really don't like the red wing mirrors!

I did have the red toe hook cover on but then swapped it to black!

I might go back to red, not sure yet!

Stubby aerial needed! You could use your current one as the AOC flag pole at present haha

Little update on my 124!

Car has now done over 1000 miles, so I decided to have an oil change done.

Great service from the guys over at pro alfa as always.

Also got the stubby aerial fitted which looks great!

Next on the list is a set of new wheels - but not until we are through the winter! Im thinking silver ultraleggeras?

And heres a great photo from Abarth Day!
