Carbon collective to an awesome metal polish called lustre - should bring them up to a perfect finish again 👍

Give them a good scrub with your shampoo mixture first, then go at them with a metal polish :)

As Adey said, the CC one is really good, AF also do a good one called Mecury - to be honest I think theyre produced in the same factory ;)

Meguairs NXT metal polish is also good,

or good old fashioned Autosol ;)

I have ordered Gtechniq metal polish to try on my tips but have always used wd40 with fine grade steel wool, very lightly rub the exhaust with the wd40 acting as a lubricant and polish/element protection. Works a treat and doesn't damage the chrome tips as long as little pressure is applied  :o looking forward to trying a metal polish though! May use along with the fine grade wool!

Posted this on Detailing World just the other day.  On my fiesta I bought a 2nd hand exhaust and gave it a good polish before fitting.  Using lots of elbow grease, wire wool and some Peek to start, followed by the Britemax twins with a microfiber I got these results:

After:

Cheers for the tips  8)

I just went through my AF goodies and I have some Mercury - just haven't had a chance to use it yet! Will start with that and some fine wire wool first, see how I go.  :)

Id try without the wire wool first,

Just use an old rag or a foam applicator, even a microfibre!

Never had a need for wire wool on my Monza :)
