Front numberplates
« on: September 17, 2016, 06:31:34 PM »
Apparently my 124 has been built and is awaiting shipping. I've been looking at pics and can see nowhere for the front numberplate to be mounted which won't look terrible. I have a 60s Mustang which legally has smaller motorcycle-sized plates - is there any chance of doing something similar on the 124 Spider? Italian-size for the front, maybe?

I have been driving around since the start of the year without any front plate so i dont think there is much of an issue. the rozzers wont waste time just for that. However i guess if you are speeding are something they may just pick out every detail

I think that would be a definite pull - there are a lot of permanent average speed cameras around here, with the ANPR reading the front plate. Not worth the risk! I'm tempted to try the smaller motorcycle size plate on the front - that's if I can someone who will make one in a single line rather than the square style.

Had been running no front plate (in front window) for just a week when was pulled over by police and asked to fit one. Small plate added...
