I'm signed up as a driver and taking my partner as a guest too, so we'll be there nice and early from London before heading down to Cardiff for a party :)

Right, have now managed to resolve membership issues with the Scorpionship. After making contact via the website, to their credit Abarth have resolved it in 48hrs and I've now a registration number to get the discounted tickets. So, looks like we're back on, if I can just work out which tickets I need and how much I should pay   :-\

Then the question is whether to picnic basket or not. I've a sneaking suspicion that even though the nice man on BBC weather has just said this weekend will be milder, it's not going to last! Prepared to be proven wrong mind.

Hi all,

New member here, will be attending on the 29th. Paid for the driver pass mainly to park inside more than anything, not overly bothered about taking mine on the track as I've only had it a couple of months.

Looking forward to meeting everyone, although mine is looking a bit of a sorry state at the mo due to the previous owner managing to kerb every single wheel and drive into things.

You can park inside with the guest pass too. Difference between the 2 is track time. Got my tickets printed off and looking forward to this day!

its a bit confusing what it entitles you to tbh,

Quote
There are two types of tickets:

DRIVER
allows the participant to access the event with their own car (Abarth cars exclusively);
GUEST
allows access to the event either as a passenger or on foot.

Just ordered my tickets from the site. Looks like its explained easier now with a tick list of what's included for what. Only bought as guest as not too bothered about driving and also this will be my first car meet as an Abarth driver so be gentle guys and gals. Cant wait for the day. Now to wash the car, full wash and wax and to remember to take my rapid detailer down with me.

Also need to order a AOC sticker for my window.

Cant wait to meet the faces to names.

Tickets booked. Can anyone arrange some autumn sunshine? Couldn't find the option on a drop-down menu...

Just wanted to acknowledge the great service received from the Abarth customer service team. We'd registered some time ago for the scorpionship to get the discount on tickets and had received nothing back. An email to the team and it was rectified in 48hrs and have now been able to secure the tickets in good time.

Exactly the same for me too, signed up several weeks ago and Anna from Abarth customer services has been great and sorted things out very quick, so second that 👍🏻

Guest Ticket booked (Driver tickets sold out)? - Bella not exactly the fastest track car (would not want to slow the modern stuff down).

See you there - keep your eyes out on the M40 from London - stop if you see me on the hard shoulder!

i spoke to Jerry at Abarth yesterday, drivers need to be there for 8.00 for 8.30 briefing , it will all be signposted from main entrance , to the BRDC .
once again , instructors will be Fulvio  and Nick.
bring a helmet and driving licence too !
sessions are probably gonna be 2x 15 minutes throughout the day.

I want my car to be nice and shiny for the Abarth day......(an opportunity to get some fantastic photos for my 2017 calendar).....but it looks as though I'll either be cleaning it in the dark on Friday night or very early on Saturday morning.  Good job I didn't go for the driver ticket if they have to be there for 8am.
