As noted in a separate thread, I have a Costa Brava red one on order, having seen this spec. in Palermo and just loved it.  Heritage Pack, Manual, but no visibility pack as I'm extremely old school and don't like extra complicaton and electronics.
Initially told to expect it in September, then told November, told a couple of days ago that it has been built (!!) and is about to get on a boat to the UK.  Who knows?
The dealer is as excited as we are as they haven't seen one yet...

Hi all.
1st post here - although I have been an active member of 'Pistonheads' for 11 years. I've had a long list of 'mid-life-crisis 2nd cars', so hoping the 124 will be good.
I have ordered a 124 in White with the Heritage look and Corsa red bits with Bose and Visibility packs - like the one used in most of the advertising. Ordered it in late July, so hoping for September(ish) delivery, although the dealer hasn't updated me since ordering.
I was lucky enough to drive the red LHD press one at Brands Hatch last month (I put this quick vid on youtube a while ago - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrMx1cmx_eE ) so I already know it drives well.
Looking forward to being an active member on here and meting a few of you at any events (based in Berkshire).
I have also (hopefully) attached the brochure pack I received in an email as a pdf - some of you may not have seen it as it was for dealers.

Just wondering... where's the front number plate going to go?  Shame to just bolt it on the centre strip as in the videos.  Wonder if I'd get away with the old stick-on on the bonnet....

Hi again and thanks for the welcome.
Bertie - firstly, thanks for approving my Facebook joining request, too. I am near Bracknell and yes, it was ordered from Ajay at Thames Fiat in Slough.
As for the number plate, it'll almost certainly be as in the videos as I think legally and for the MOT, the front plates have to be placed vertically or as near as possible to vertical.
I used to have a Cobra replica and some got away with bonnet stick on ones, but they used to get MOT's at 'friendly' testing stations...!

I've ordered a San Marino 1972 Black, non-heritage with Bose and Visibility Packs and the satnav upgrade.

Mine's due at the end of September, apparently.

Ordered a blue non heritage with bose and visibility pack, not sure when it will arrive, hopefully in ~2 months time.

Mine has apparently arrived, but because of holidays and business abroad, I won't be collecting it until Friday 30th September.

My partner just dropped off the personal plate retention certificate this afternoon, so it can be registered with the plonker plate from Day 1 (and at the same time had a test drive in a 595 Competizione that we may get to replace her 2.0 MX-5 Sport Venture).

Arrived? No word on ours, last news was status 30. I placed the order at the end of May - you'd think the early ones would come over together. Just have to wait and see!
