Waterless wash?
« on: June 20, 2016, 09:15:15 PM »
Hey,

I'm a bit of a beginner where it comes to cleaning/detailing, so looking for some help! I have just got a waterless wash from halfords, any one got any review on this! Or is it a good/bad idea?

It would be ok for a "quick once-over" if the car is almost clean or to remove water marks after it has rained & dried, but I wouldn't want to use it if there is any significant dirt or road grime on the car as there is a good chance of causing minor scratches & swirl marks on the paintwork.  I have used Quick Detailer sprays with a nice soft micro fibre cloth if my car has been recently washed & is almost spotless, otherwise it would have to be a proper wash with  a lambs wool mitt etc.

I can't live without my quick detailer. I use a meguiars ultimate detail spray. Great for getting rid of that pesky layer of dust on a black car :)
