Brand new car advice

Hi guys, pick my car up tomorrow and am looking for advice on initial cleaning.

Recently started getting in to detailing and my usual routine is
Snow foam,
Rinse
Wash with armourall heavy duty with mitt
Rinse
Microfibres off
Then every few months a coat of armourall paintwork sealant which imho is awesome and easy..and it's very good on black plastic trim!

Now..I don't want to spend a million pound on detailing stuff, and it will get washed once a week(love clean cars and it's my first ever new car..so it's going to be a love affair!)

I want to add a wax that's quick and easy to apply and buff off that will work with the sealant.
Also I'm assuming that waxing over sealant is ok?
What do you recomend and is my routine ok?

Also one thing has got me worried is the side stripes...can they be sealed over, and has anyone ever damaged one with a jet wash (I damaged a bikes fairing with a jet washer as it pealed the stickers off!)
