When is facelift being announced? ?

As title says really. I didn't want to put "facelift news" as I'm sure loads of you like me would excitedly click on it expecting all the details and be disappointed  (I know that's caught me out a few times ) I'm getting fed up of typing "2016 facelift abarth 595 " into Google every day it's becoming excessive. Does anyone know anything? ?

I think most suspected the New York car show was where it would be revealed but that didn't happen. Isn't there a big German car show coming up shortly, is it the Frankfurt show? That sounds likely but with Abarth, who knows really! I am curious mainly to see what engine they go with seeing as the 124 uses the 1.4 M/A unit now.

ps. Heard a clip of it on youtube, it sounds even better than our 595s with the SS Monza, not sure if it is the M/A or they have done something with the exhaust/map with it rasps and pops on command it seems.

I rang the a dealer last night on another matter completley but got on to the subject of the facelift and he said they have totally ruined the car!! not sure if he was bullshitting me but he seemed totally informed on the matter.

it's possible or even quite likely that they have. They ruined the last Punto a few times, the MK2 Punto facelift was truly awful, the 500 facelift is a bit marmite. Instead of dropping the Mito as rumoured, they have ruined the front end with a pretty hideous facelift. Maybe they'll get it right with the Abarth.

If the lights are the stupid dairy lee triangles at the back and the gay halo crap things at the front then it will look rubbish.
