Record Modena exhaust
« on: January 31, 2015, 10:15:07 AM »
I've been stuck in hospital for the last week. So I've been browsing around and came across this advert for an Abarth Record Modena exhaust.
I know I'm brand new to Abarth ownership, but I've never heard of these before. What do they sound like compared to the Monza? Or are they just a more expensive twin outlet version of it?
I must admit I'm not sure that they look as nice as the Monza.

Hey Taz

Sorry you're in hospital, I hope you're okay!

I believe that the record Modena is just the record monza but with slightly different tail pipes at the end. It's what's fitted to the 695 Maserati.

Although it sounds slightly different because you hear more of the turbo on the 695, as it's much much bigger!

Exactly the same as the Monza just with different tailpipes. On a side note they have the Monza on special for £649.99 delivered which a is pretty cheap!

Thanks Bertie.
I'm just going through a two week course of plasma exchange before I start some treatment. Unfortunately It means I start looking at expensive bits! £800 odd for an exhaust is a bit too much, and I actually think that the Monza looks nicer.
I've found that the upside of owning the Abarth is that my other half is like me and wants to find reasons to go out in her! If things are OK I'm going to try and make The Ace.

Hope you get well soon Taz. As for the exhaust, not my cup of tea although I did see someone with the record monza chop off the tail pipes and attach two large ones in there place and it looked brilliant
