The Tributo came with a mild steel Monza. This has since been replaced by the stainless steel Monza. The sound of the Tributo is very similar to the 180 Comp as they both run GT 1446 turbos hence the obvious turbo whistle. The 180 Comps run a Euro 6 ECU so that might have a small effect of the comparison. Effectively the noise is as a result of a free flowing exhaust on Euro Tjet engine.

You have the 1.4 FIRE Turbo Multiair engine which is US spec. My understanding is that the US car has a free flowing exhaust as standard unlike the Euro model. Like the Euro engine the US version has it's own sound, much more sporty. We need the free flowing exhaust to make ours sound more raspy where as yours sound great out of the box.

As a result of having a different engine and turbo it will never sound the same and the Tributo and as the Monza is designed for the Tjet it probably isn't worth fitting.

thank you for your input... really appreciate it...
