180 Comp v 595 v 695 ferrari tributo
« on: November 29, 2015, 03:23:25 AM »
Can anyone tell me the difference in the drive, acceleration, gear ratio and in general power delivery from the 695 ferreri tributo and the new 180 comp. Im aware the ferrari tributo is MTA. like for like are they the same as 180 comp.
Secondly how does the 180 comp compare to the 160 595. CAn you feel much difference and what about the difference in turbos, what affect is it having in terms of lag and/or lower down power/torque

They make maximum torque which is around 180ftlbs at 2.5k revs so already a lot more than a 160 model.

Having driven a mapped 135 to 172bhp and 232ftlbs I still think the 180 comp feels like it pulls a lot harder. The IHI on the old 160 is only a very small turbo in comparison to the 1446 setup on the new ones even though the 1446 is still a relatively small turbo anyway.

The suspension set up is a lot better on the 180s also, far less bouncy compared to the old ride.

Can't comment on the MTA as I have never driven one, the auto box does not interest me.
