My top list to get started....

Two buckets......one to put soap in and one to rinse to avoid scratching psintwork.
Grittguard that goes in bucket.

A hood handheld mitt...i got from halfords and has lasted years.

A ph neutral shampoo so it dont strip your orotection off.

To dry the car...

1  large drying towel.....saves time and dries the car so well.asda sell good ones from kent for a few quid.

Use pat method to dry it instead of drAgging it across.

Demon shine because its cheap and you can dilute it if you realy want to and spray it on....rinse off...most the water runs off so it helps with drying.

Prparing paintwork..

1.
Iron x and clay bar or clay mitt.iron x to remove imbeded stuff in paint...looks cool too..then clay bar to make paint smooth ready to polish.

A polish like ag super resin polish to brigten up the paint and mask swirl marks

Top it up with a wax or sealant.

A quick detailer like finishkare fk425  to spray and add abit after youve cleaned the car.

Wheels:
Wheel brush
Bilberry wheel cleaner.....its safe on wheels and you can dilute.

Tyre gel like meguiars endurance if you want glossy finish or zaino tyre dressing for a matt finish

Wheel sealant will keep brake dust at bay making them easier to clean.

A glass polish to deep clean the glass but a glass cleaner to use every wash.

:)

Agreed, I can't wait to get a proper system going when cleaning the car in either winter or summer!

Tyre dressing - My personal fave is Frost Onyx but it's no longer available.

I have a bottle still almost full of that stuff, I can't stand it. Much prefer Gyeon tyre one.

You are welcome to it for the price of postage if you want mate?

PM me Benn, will happily take it. Just let me know the price of postage and I shall paypal it to you!

Curious as too why you don't like it Benn? Also now curious to know how good Gyeon is as the Frost for me is fantastic!

I find Frost Onyx applies easily, spreaks very well and dries to the touch with a nice dark, semi gloss finish that lasts at least a week regardless of weather.

Should also add that Frost Care Care is still trading. Seems the site was only down for updating and is now back online! :)
