Are you doing it on a mobile, or a desktop, Andy? Won't work from a mobile device. Mine was trial and error (aka luck) but from memory: click on where you want to appear on the map. Somehow, a little box with pop up. In the box, delete "location and number" and replace with your user name. Might have skipped a couple of steps, but that should roughly be it....

It is weird if trying to see my location from Apple device, can't see my location, but if i go on my PC then i can see my location.
