The types needed are as follows:
[/b]

Main Beam:       H1
DRLs:               ABD 7443 21/5  (make sure you ask for white, as most bulbs of this type are RED).

Is that link for the correct type?

I'm looking to replace my DRLs with the whitest possible at the cheapest price - any suggestions folks?

They work very well for a number of members Martin. Nothing to say they're the best but for the price of bulbs I went for them :)

I see that some people have replaced the front indicator bulb with a silver/chrome one to get rid of the fried egg look.. Anyone tell me where to get them or which ones i need please

Jazzy I bought these.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271898559128?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Remember when you take out the bulb holder it's a quarter turn anti clockwise and the bulb simply pulls out. A pair of needle nose pliers are useful as they are fiddly.

Hope that helps.

Cheers Ads.... I was kinda convinced that mine are the ones shown for HID but not sure now.. They definitely look like a large round bulb when looking through the light lens... Will take it out later to double check

Do you have Xenons?

No I don't think so Ads but the bulb definitely looks like the bigger one of the two in the diagram shown earlier in this thread...

That said I still can't get the bloody thing out I'm just looking through the lens.. . It's a nightmare to get out.. Is it anti clockwise as you look at it from the front or anti clockwise if you look at it from the back? Either way it doesn't budge...

Okay, if you don't have Xenons then the bulbs I sent you are definitely the right ones, I fitted them to mine a few weeks back and they are bigger than they look. They are an exact match for the spec (W21W) you have and the exact same size bulb as you have. They are tight to press fit but they work. Don't twist them or you will snap the bulb!

As you stand in front of the light turn a quarter of a turn to the right, if you could stand in the engine bay (which you can't) it would be to the left. It is stiff hence the suggestion of needle nose pliers to give you bit of grip. You will find it tough with your fingers buddy.

Cheers Ads,

You're like my go to man these days.  Thanks for all the advice.  Ordered them earlier today..  Once the exhaust and springs are on tomorrow thats it for me.

yes they look like totally standard indicator bulbs when flashing as they have an internal orange glass filament surround

just look at this stock image
