Which Oil?
« on: July 17, 2015, 01:00:52 AM »
I keep getting different advice about which oil to use for the Grande Punto Abarth.
Either 5/40 for pd filter or Selenia 10/50, but also heard could use total racing 10/50.
Which is the best to use?  :o

Abarth recommends the 10W50 Selenia, and that's whats going in my car at it's service.

Use the 10w50 (same oil as the 500) Tjet engine gets really hot and require a thicker oil. I had once a dealer use 5w40 in my car, which didn't cause any harm but it was only in for 6 months anyway.
