So when my dearest darling sister bought a 500, I offered to add some protection instead of the Supacrap from the dealers.

Started off with some ValetPro pH Neutral foam


Jet washed the foam off and found that there was still plenty of crud stuck


First wash with the Britemax Cleanmax shampoo, nice and suddy

So then hit it with some Britemax Ironmax, which as you'll see shifts all the iron and a lot of the tar/rubber that had stuck to the car.


I did hit it with some Autosmart Tardis and Britemax GrimeOut for the window seals an petrol recess, but I didn't take any pictures of these stages.  Then washed again with Cleanmax.

I sealed the car with some Britemax (yeah again) Extreme Elements, pictures skipped but a nice thinish application and it's pretty easy to remove. I left it about 30 mins to go off after removal before the next stage.

Then the final stage was some Britemax Vantage wax.

In the last week it's taking longer and longer to start my car, needing 2-3 attempts to start from cold!

I've plugged in the ELM scanner and checked the log, but that's empty. Any idea's?

Anyone installed a double din headunit in a 2013 (63) in their car? Just wondering if they have changed the way the air vents sit under the dash.

Due to having my wheels refurb'd at the moment, I'll have some time before moving the rubber across to them. So plenty of time to get some good protection on them.

Just wondering if anyone knows the front and rear sizes of the brake discs? I'm taking it there not the 305x28 of the floating Brembo setup.
