Can you let me know if you do find the wiring. I have been wanting to do this on mine but am unsure if the wiring is there, and indeed, if it is, whether it will work without the amp in the boot.

I have 5 cars in our house - 2 smarts, a Skoda, a Ford and of course an Abarth.

Most forums are being killed by facebook - which is a terrible shame as facebook is so difficult to search. It's great for posting a quick photo but annoyingly it's never going to change because facebookers spend their life on that platform, and that platform alone so have no desire to come back to old fashioned websites anymore.

I have looked onto the fb page for this site and quite frankly it's overwhelming. There seems to be about 50 new threads a day and as they're all in one feed it's impossible to pick out the ones I'm actually interested in without wasting hours of my time.

Having proper sections like "technical" "photos" "classifieds" etc., makes so much more sense.

If you miss a post on FB within an hour it's forgotten about and yesterday's news.

Picked it up yesterday. Supplied with 140 horses and within the hour it was mapped to 160 horses,

Has gone from luke warm to scorching hot.

More mods to follow!

Introductions / Soon to be Abarth 500 MTA Owner
« on: May 09, 2017, 11:47:16 PM »
Well more correctly, my missus is soon to be an Abarth 500 MTA owner. Picking up a 2014 model with 27,000 on the clock from the Slough dealer on Saturday morning to replace her Smart Brabus which is nearing end of life.

Tried my upmost to get her in the Competizione version but the hard seating & suspension was a deal breaker for her, though she did like the 17" wheels, extra 20hp and Monza exhaust so I guess these are the first mods that will be doing to the 500!

Car's don't stay standard for long in our house and the first stop after collecting the car Saturday morning is Tune4Performance in Watford where Tony will be letting us know what remap options he can provide for us...

Anyway, already making a list of all the mods and things we can do to this wee beastie over the coming months - and looking forward to getting to know you all!
