General Chat / OCD oil cap alignment!

So I recently got one of the nice Alloy Oil and Petrol cap sets for the 595.

Only problem is, in the engine, the Abarth logo on the Oil cap doesn't line up straight when the oil filler cap is tightened all the way down.

I had a look at the little clip underneath that attaches to the yellow plastic part of the cap and there seems to be no way of adjusting the it.

OCD i know but it bugs me! Any ideas folks?

Just let the car warm up properly and don't thrash it from cold. I covered about 500 miles in mine before giving it any big beans.

Keep an eye on the oil level too. Apart from that I have had no problems running in the 3 Abarths I have owned to date.

Thanks to Colin for organising this one, a great turnout for the club and so much to see!

Good to meet some faces old and new, and the weather just about held out for us ;)

Well i tried it today and the colour match is definitely better than the Fiat paint stick.  8)

The blending solution is a bit of a faff, but in general its not a bad system.

I was washing the car today and noticed the Passenger side DRL light cover has gone walkies from the wheel arch liner!

Can anyone tell me if this is the correct part? -  http://r.ebay.com/dmiix8

Is it a generic 500 part? Only reason I ask is my dealer couldn't find the part on his system for the Abarth.

I got a kit from Chip Ex today as I was unhappy at the colour match of the Abarth Red (176a) Fiat paint pen. It was more of a terracotta shade than red. :o

Due to the bad state of our roads these days Rory has picked up a chip already :(

Has anyone tried the Chip Ex system?  They claim accurate colour matching and its a 3 stage process.

I will report back once I have given it a go!
