Looks like a brilliant event today in St Neots. Well done Colin, Berti and Ciro. Even organised the weather! Terrific too to see some old friends here. It’s been a busy day in town, with a regular ‘show n shine’ end of month event at Riverside and the 2-day St Neots Festival at Priory Park (just a few yards east from the rugby club) and the national Abarth gathering. Great to meet representatives of Abarth UK and see the incredible new Abarth EV. PLEASE post lots of pictures from todays event. With nearly 400 Abarths in attendance, just one picture each will fill pages and pages! JL & A

Is Abarth Festival event on 25th June 2023 at St. Neots still going ahead?
Good afternoon. Looks like it… had an email this week from the promotion team at Petrolheadonism. They are hoping for 1000 Abarth!! Whilst we don’t currently have aforementioned Abarth,I do own a 2017 Fiat 500 Riva (which I adore) which will be making the pilgrimage of approximately 4 miles to St Neots rugby club for the meet. Forgot to mention, although it’s probably already clear, we’d love for this car to stay with in the Abarth family, as we know you’ll appreciate this little car.  Give us a PM or add something on this forum page and we will get back to you. Don’t miss out on a very exclusive 695.

Make us a sensible offer. In no rush to sell, may simply mothball it and bring it out again in 10 years time when its fast appreciating  ;)

For Sale / Abarth 695C XSR #035 *SOLD*

DISCOUNTED PRICE TO AOC MEMBERS ONLY
Many of you will have seen our beautiful XSR at recent Abarth events.  We’ve loved it - still do -  but our head has been turned. Please don’t ask. There is only one XSR currently on AutoTrader, at £18.5k. Our car will be sold with its £1.5k Brembo upgrade, personal ‘XSR’ plate, plus some other additions such as extended graphics and replacement mats. This is a fabulous car and comes with a service stamp, bill of sale and the original sales brochure. If we could afford to run two cars this would be staying. Make me an offer I cannot turn down..... we have been told there are only 15 of these ‘C’ versions currently registered in the UK.  For more pictures and details see our other posts incl https://forum.abarthownersclub.com/index.php?topic=5284.0

Your Abarth / Re: 695 XSR Yamaha #035

#warning!! This thread gets emotional.... we’ve taken a decision to consider the sales of #035.... this will see us leave the AOC for a while, but hopefully at some point we will come back. Love this car, it’s simply the best Abarth we’ve had. Only one XSR currently on Autotrader, and ours is MUCH better. Pop along to the ‘sale’ page if you’re interested in grabbing an exclusive bargain! Make us an offer we cannot refuse.

Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / Re: Giannini 350GP **poll your opinion now**

So, the voting says that the majority love the look but couldn’t justify the spend. We tend to agree. Still, some pretty metal to enjoy on these pages... A

Very good point. I reckon rule 13.1 section C would apply; “that thou shall only be considered for acceptance to said members club if thou owns an Abarth.”

However I think there is a 13.1 section C sub-section iii which reads; “where thou drives a vehicle that by all reasonable consideration could be adjudged to being from said Abarth brand, and that by all reasonable consideration looks and performs like said Abarth brand, but is not; and that the vehicle of said undisclosed brand creates the same or greater degree of passion whilst retaining the traditional origins of said Abarth heritage, it may be considered for membership.”

If it meets this criteria then section iv applies; “said membership will be required to undertake a vote no less than 7 days after the submission of interest to join and must receive, by return of ballot, a minimum of 74% for the ‘eye’ and from a minimum of 26% of the voting membership. Holidays allowing”.

Hang on, just seen that rule 275 allows for direct entry; “Cool is king. Accept”

And no, I’ve not had a drop. A

9 days is now 8... poll closes on 7 Aug.

23 days to early retirement!?!? That could be another poll. I’ve got 31 months.

Back on the 350GP,  Anyone else got a view?
