General Chat / Re: What Did You Do To Your Car Today?
« on: July 25, 2021, 04:42:40 PM »
Brought it to it's new home after buying it yesterday, and today I've spent all day machine polishing and detailing it with next to no breeze!  :-[

Well worth the effort though, and happy to be back in another Abarth!  8)

Your Abarth / Re: Heater issues
« on: January 13, 2018, 08:24:36 PM »
It's an obvious thing, but check your coolant level isn't low first, low coolant can affect heating.

If not, as mentioned above sadly the heater box is probably the culprit.

It's Fiat... they rarely reveal too much compared to other manufacturers lol.

I'd love an Abarth Tipo, but it won't happen.

Introductions / Re: Exhaust system
« on: January 05, 2018, 10:53:18 PM »
If you want pops and gargles then any of the budget exhausts will do the job fine.

If you want a performance system, then I can recommend the Milltek stainless system. Have it fitted to mine, and the build quality, fitment and design is brilliant. However I have the resonated version so you get less pops sadly (previous owner spec'd it) but performance wise, I'd rate it highly although they are far from cheap.

You'll be fine.... Mines down on coilovers and I have no issues with speed humps anywhere in the country.

Congrats on the order btw  8)

What difference to handling are people seeing with spacers? Spacers always seems like a crowbar way  to go at an issue myself

That's what's holding me back a bit.
I guess most people do it for the looks alone. I would do it mainly for looks too, but I don't want to f**k up the handling completely since I take it to the track every now and then. I'd like a bit less understeer, so going a little wider at the rear could do that.  Any experiences?

Sorry for hijacking your thread, Tim.. :)

I've had spacers on my Esseesse wheels before I changed them and handling improved. The wider stance, along with properly adjusted wheel alignment will benefit any car over a narrower wheel position and if you track the car, you'll definitely benefit IMO.

Those wheels are great. What springs does that sit on?
How do you find those Yoka Parada in UK weather?

It's on FK coilovers with Fiat Coupe bump stops and uprated bushes.

I've no issues with the Parada's... even in the wet. They get a bad rep online, but I've honestly never had an issue with them and have a spare pair in the shed as they're sadly discontinued now.

What sort of budget do you have? And any preference with regards to a standard example or modified? Mileage?  :)

These c spanners should do the job...

With regards to the bulb, do you mean the plastic connector that fits to the rear of the bulb or the rubber cover that goes onto the back?
