Nice info, i've been looking at stuff like this on other forums.   One site had all the mods available for different engines with links,  maybe this could have the same?

Abarth Punto Evo / MAP Sensor Part ref
« on: April 12, 2016, 07:45:04 PM »
Hi, today i was driving along as you do and my car jolted, spluttered and got all the error messages come up on the dash.

I know it's the MAP sensor as this has happened before, also had RAC out, who have read the faults which also points at this.

Anyway, the 1st time this happened was a week after fitting my Bluespark tuning box.  I had it replaced under warranty  at the garage i purchased the car from but it wasn't a genuine part.  Even though the car is now booked in to an Abarth Dealers nr me, i want to purchase an additional genuine sensor but i can't find the part number.

Could someone have a look or have the number at hand?

Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / Re: how to "drive in" a new car best

All new engines are tested and run in at the factory before you receive it, so rings, cam etc should already be bedded in properly.  If it were me though i'd just drive it normally, take it easy for a few hundred miles but don't be scared to hit the boost.

I've always been with Adrian Flux but the Mrs always gets a better deal through Chris Knotts.

If they are coming to you, unless they put it on a rolling road and build the map to the cars spec then it isn't any different to a TMC box

Just a little update.  A lot of talk about exhaust for the APE's and i've just had mine done.  I went for a custom 2 1/2" stainless steel system from the flexi back.  They offered turbo back but funds fell short.

I've only got the FB link at the minute but will post pics or addition videos if required.

Questions / Air freshener
« on: February 28, 2016, 02:52:23 PM »
Hi guys, I'm just wondering what people are using for air fresheners.  I love yellow vanilla tree's but they lose scent after a week and would like a liquid that keeps the scent stronger and longer.

I've also looked at some concentrated 5ltr Cherry from a few websites but not sure what they are like.

I went to Paris in my Abarth Evo, had no problems what so ever.  I was advised to purchase addition breathalysers though by a driver who drives there regularly.  Apparently if you only carry 2, which is required by law and they get you to use 1, then you get fined for only having 1.  It sounds ridiculous but I read up on it and it has happened.

When I called Chris Knott, I was asked if mine was the 163 or 180 bhp version, so some insurance companies recognise this model.

I don't see how this could be done, not with how the seats are shaped.

I've fitted my Bluespark box, chrome indicator bulbs and smoked side repeaters.  Gotta say you notice the difference with the Bluespark fitted.   ;D

Thanks, how come you're selling the GT?  I need to do the head gasket and find some front seat subframes.  Sold my leathers and gave them with the seats leaving my originals useless lol

Would it be possible to create a 'How To' section.  I plan on doing a few things like changing springs etc and would be helpful and easier for others to find and add to
