I like most things apart from modern hip hop (strictly an 90s hip hop boy) but currently is either the fat white family or a few off off sound cloud like etched , misogi or fifty grand. Love SoundCloud as you can just stream from the I phone to the abarth

Sounds wicked. I'll  see if I can make this. Didn't realise it was so close to santa pod too. Need to go there this year too.

Reviews / Re: Tyre care / detailing

I've tried auto glym tire dressing and wasn't happy as there was a fair amount of sling for the tires, since then I've changed to Zaino z-16 perfect tyre gloss and the stuffs not too bad. Nice sheen and no sling.  It's more of a thin liquid but I apply to a sponge and apply and let it dry. Not overly glossy but effective.

Having to take my wheel arch lining out just to pop out the side repeater to change it to a smoked one. Not done it yet but it's gonna be a pain. Tried to pop the indicator off but was jammed in and couldn't get it off grrrr >:(

eBay is a wonderful thing. Order placed, may take a few weeks to get around to fitting, as too busy with work to play at present.

Get some photos up when they are fitted. Love to see them 😀

Glad I'm not the only one with the indicator issue. Was getting worried I'd have to take it in to be checked. Only happens when Turing right which is weird. Also when that happens the steering makes a noise like a spring being stretched. Only turning right. Got the brake issue but not concerned, heard supercars do it so that's how I compare it lol  :P :P

I'm liking this Howell, might look ourselves  😉

The neo chrome Ones would look awesome on your car jenniferlouise. (If you still have a podium blue that is )

Not a major mod, more aesthetically pleasing to the eye but I love the look. Got these from the well know auction site, headed under m6 fender washer kit in case some one wants to buy some

Reviews / finish kare 1000p
« on: November 20, 2016, 07:01:44 PM »
As winter is drawing in i have decided to seal my car.

I decided on finish kare 1000p even though i have some auto glym HD wax. The reason for this purchase is due to reading some reviews on detailing world and especially for coating my matte black alloys as the Finish kare has a high temperature point than the HD wax. After reading i understand that this (sealant) is different to  a wax as this lasts longer and the finnish is different on body work (glass/mirror look for finnish kare, deep glossy look for wax)

I left the sealant on the alloys for at least 15 minutes then buffed off. I only coated once as time was getting on but a double coat possibly would be plenty and recommended.

It hasnt rained here yet so cant see the results but im hoping it keeps the brake dust off more and makes the rims easier to clean next time round.

Ive posted some photos below for examples.

Hope this helps for anyone wanting to protect there alloys  :D

Reviews / Bilt Hamber auto-wash
« on: November 20, 2016, 06:12:30 PM »
I have recently bought some concentrated Bilt Hamber auto-wash car shampoo, after looking at some recommendations on the site, detailing world.
I haven't been detailing long and have been an Autoglym man myself (shampoo conditioner) but after trying the Bilt Hamber, i'm changed

There are some photo attachments below to show amounts used, foam produced and after rinse results.

I ordered my shampoo from a well known auction site form around £10 which i thought was reasonable.
To begin with i snow foamed the car, then rinsed and started to wash with the two bucket method.
The amount of shampoo required is a tea spoon, which at first doesn't seem enough, "surely i need more" but as its concentrated i found this was ample.

It foamed nicely, not too much and no too little. After washing with a mitt and after 10 minutes there was still foam in the bucket.

Working from the top down and rinsing each panel so it didn't dry (as it was slightly sunny) the results left the car with a nice sort of gloss effect which is to my liking, plus no streaking.

I would recommend this shampoo as its easy to use, effective, nice end shine and no streaking.

Thanks for reading and hope this helps if you have ever thought of getting this brand.

Abarth 500, 595 & 695 / Re: 595 comp standard specification
« on: November 11, 2016, 06:01:59 PM »
Welcome to AOC, you are correct in think it should have come with the alloy pedals, sill protectors, alloy gear knob, it should also come with full set of mats, alloy petrol and oil caps all fitted as standard as these are dealer fit. I cant remember if the new series 4 come pre-mapped to 180BHP.

Fish

How do you mean premapped to 180? Thought the comp series 4 was 180bhp?
