Hi Mark, cheers for the response!
Will it be the full cat back for £500? Where abouts are you in the country?
All sounds promising so far  :)

Wanted / Stainless monza exhaust

Just test drove a 595 competizione today and now I have to get that monza sound on my abarth! Price needs to be right otherwise I may aswell just buy brand new off the shelf. Willing to travel to collect, it's not an issue  :)

Showroom / Wheels off detail
« on: August 15, 2016, 05:16:28 PM »
So, another proper detail on the abarth! Got the wheels off this time to give them the attention they deserve! Also scrubbed the callipers and suspension components. Could barely tell they were h&r springs or bilstein dampers  ::)
Gave it another wax with the dodo juice light fantastic after some clay baring and some polishing with chemical guys white light  :)
Clay baring should of stripped any nasties off ready for this.
Rather than use a pad to apply the wax, this time I used my bare hands  ;)  this is without doubt the best way to apply wax to a car!! Just have to be careful not to put too much on! Otherwise you'll waste wax and spend forever buffing it off! Little is way better than lots!!! If I wanted to apply another coat, it's worth waiting 24 hours and keeping the car in a garage over night  :)
Pictures really don't do the paint work any justice!! It's so smooth and the shine is so rich and deep! Would really like some Swissvax wax and see what the results are like with that  ;D

Showroom / Full detail on my recently purchased abarth 500
« on: July 23, 2016, 02:41:20 PM »
Spent the week ordering everything I knew I would need to get this little baby back to her former glory.
Wasn't exactly looking sorry for itself but I have a keen eye for detail and wanted to stamp my own mark on this car with its first proper detail that I know it's had.
It was washed with some dodo juice basics of bling after the snow foam but forgot to get pics  ::)
Also some gtechniq c2 liquid crystal was applied to all the lights.
Very happy with the hours put in  ;D

Hi Brian, thanks  8) car is currently putting out 160 horses  :o with subtle exhaust mod and a remap.
Both of which obviously not done by myself but have all the relevant documents showing dates of work carried out so I was happy.

Introductions / New Abarth, New Club
« on: July 12, 2016, 12:31:14 PM »
Hi all, I'm Simon, So, new forum and a new owners club. Just purchased my abarth and I love it lol!
This is possibly the happiest I've been owning a car, it's got bags of character!!
I have owned a 2014 bmw m235i which I got rid of this year for a Mercedes cla shooting brake 250!
My abarth is now my new daily driver to be honest even tho it relaxes all week and only really will get used at the weekend  ;D :o
Anyway! Looking forward to many happy times and hopefully get along to some meets or shows  :o
I'll attach a pic of my car if I can figure it out  :o
