Hi all,

Sharing a short video clip of me at Loton Park this bank holiday weekend. Screeching tyres and roaring exhaust. Good 2 days of driving.

Have you ever thought of "if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all"

South East Owners / Curborough speed championship - 3rd. July 2016

Today I am in the  service hydraulics speed championship at curborough, neat Litchfield. I crashed out here in May so hoping for a better performance today.

Prescott went well with no crashes. I came 6th out of 11 which I was pleased with. The weather conditions were variable and two climbs were on wet track which made it more challenging. There were two other Abarths there on the day but they were competing in a different class to me. Our times were comparable but they were slightly faster than me :-( . I will use the excuse of this being my 3rd event and my first time at Prescott. Also the timed runs for the other Abarths were on dry track whereas mine were on wet track.
I am having problems uploading the films as Giles are too large but here are some photos for now.

Hi All,

If you are interested in watching a hill climb event please see link below to website. There are usually a great variety of cars and this year for the first time i will be racing my abarth. It could be classed as good entertainment seeing as i crashed off in my last event but I am clearly not looking to do that again (must remember you can take your foot off the throttle!!!)

It's a good day out, nice venue and facilities.

This is my first year hill climbing so still learning the ropes. I also co drive in a Honda Civic rally car so am used to the speed but I now need to learn the skills so I keep it on the track.

Car has full Essesse kithowever suspension has been replaced with Bilstein 2.25" coil over struts on the front and Bilstein dampers and lowering springs on the back. It also has a TMC tuning box and ragazzon group N duplex S Steel exhaust.

They are 17" team dynamics. The car has been lowered too which think makes them look bigger.

Couple of picks when it's looking shiney

I went from tarmac to grass to tarmac to grass. I think the noise is the wheel hitting the edge of the track. It makes me wince when I hear it. I collected a lot of grass to 😁

I race my abarth. Only done two events and as you will see mixed results. I must remember to take my foot off the accelerator sometimes. Thankfully no real harm done to the car.
